creator's notes: first I'd like to thank my friend tifaisbatmannow for building this monster in the first place.  Thanks to them I didn't have to wrestle this monstrosity out of the primordial muck myself and for that I am eternally grateful.  All I did was tweak the design a little and stuff it full of cc clutter, something that was a load of fun.  My favorite moment of triumph was finding those art nouveau windows.  Aren't they glorious?  My only real heartbreak is that I couldn't find anything even close to the mako tubes the boys got put in for those five years.  I did find the perfect ones - but they were for Sims2.  I was a little heartbroken, ngl.  The closest I could come for S3 was the body sculptor you can get with enough wish fulfillment points.  If anyone finds something better, I would love to hear about it. 


known issues:  there are no bathrooms!  I know I've added bathrooms to every other house but I just didn't with this one.  It's pretty much canon ie. the inhabitants of Nibelheim are camels that don't ever pee.  The friend that I got the building from had converted some of the rooms to bathrooms however and they'd be really easy to convert back that way.  And on that note, this house is canon - sooooo, if you're planning on living in it, you will have to move some of the furniture.  That place is a cluttered mess with stools and cabinets in the way of easy access  for anyone, much less Sims that can't walk up stairs without serious contemplation.  And on a last note, the file is pretty big so be prepared for a bit of download time depending on your connection and computer speed.  No other issues I'm aware of atm.

level 99 is the house complete with all cc.  If you do not have the EPs I used, some of the items will not carry over in the download and the game will automatically replace them.

level 6 is just the house with minimal furniture and no cc.  It has no EP items in it either.  You should get the entire house needing only the base game.

always back up your saves before installing something new and, personally, I also run Sims3Packs through Delphy's custard (I check my Nibelheim houses through it to test them before I put them up for download as well).

obviously give me and tifaisbatmannow credit if you use the house somewhere.  Really though what I crave are pictures or stories or tales of adventure if you do use any of these houses.  Tell me about your sims moseying!  That's what I'm building this thing for.

houses that won't load and package preferrers

Recently I had problems with a house I wanted to download from a sims3pak that would download but wouldn't show up in my game.  After a bit of snooping I found the solution here.  I tried it out and it worked just fine for me.

Also I know some people prefer using packages over sims3paks and the way to turn the second into the first is on that page as well.

Hopefully this will help anyone looking for an alternate route to getting a stubborn house into their game.
