Tokyo strip mall
so after a recent trip to Japan I'm building myself a city with a 'Tokyo' feel to it. Not claiming complete authenticity - just having fun fitting as much of what I picked up while I was there into things. And what's the first thing your city needs (after a tiny starter apartment and a FamilyMart?)? Why a run down strip mall for the seedy side of town of course! Where else are the disenfranchised teens and Yakuza going to hang out? So I present:
lot size: 20x15
price: 35678/107545
download

this lot does not have cc. If you do not have the EPs and worlds I used, some of the items may not carry over in the download and the game will automatically replace them.
always back up your saves before installing something new and, personally, I also run Sims3Packs through Delphy's custard (I check my lots through it to test them before I put them up for download as well).
obviously give me credit if you use my buildings somewhere. Really though what I crave are pictures or stories or tales of adventure if you do use any of my lots. Tell me about your sims moseying! That's what I'm building this thing for.
list of cc sources:
none. This lot is cc free
recommendations: I am going to be dipping heavily into Noir and Dark Sims cc for my city and I recommend you do the same. It's really very unique. And I'm playtesting it (and the rest of my buildings) at Devil's Port which is a complete joy to play in.
known issues: none that I'm aware of. You get a doubleconsignment pawn shop (don't ask what they sell upstairs), a fast food joint that's not allowed to use the franchise name anymore, an otaku shop with an internet cafe upstairs and a bar/karaoke lounge (but don't go there unless you know the right hand signals). It's listed as a small market but knock yourself out and run amok with what it turns into.
