temple shops pt. 1
One of the things that absolutely delighted me while I was visiting Japan was the fact that every temple we visited had long narrow streets crammed full of shops leading up to it. Sometimes there were entire warrens in front of temple entrances of thin streets and side alleys absolutely packed full of things to buy. Between that and the huge crowds it was very easy to get caught up and swept away in a buyer's whirlwind. I wanted to recreate that a little but alas, Sims have a habit of getting stuck behind a random piece of fallen paper given half the chance. So instead of making one long alley, I built a variety of shops separately instead. Not quite the claustrophobic feel I wanted but still a lot of fun and probably more versatile.

these lots do have cc. If you do not have the EPs and worlds I used, some of the items may not carry over in the download and the game will automatically replace them. I did use items from the EA store. The game will replace it with something else if you don't have that set.
always back up your saves before installing something new and, personally, I also run Sims3Packs through Delphy's custard (I check my lots through it to test them before I put them up for download as well).
obviously give me credit if you use any of my shops somewhere. Really though what I crave are pictures or stories or tales of adventure if you do use any of these houses. Tell me about your sims moseying! That's what I'm building this thing for.
list of cc sources: here
recommendations: you'll need to download the exterior walls for some of the buildings here at Latoya sims.
known issues: again, sims won't automatically sit in the stools provided at the food vendor and I refuse to put the counter any deeper in from the arch than it already is just so they will. You have to instruct them to sit there first or else move things around yourself. No other issues I'm aware of.
